A night in the Desert

The tented property we use is a highly professional organization specializing in exclusive camel safaris and mobile camping anywhere in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan. The owners come from a Rajput family and hospitality is "in the blood". The camp team has over ten years of experience in the camping business. Over the years they have achieved a high level of comfort for guests, in spite of the harsh desert terrain.

One has the option of spending a night at the tented base camp, or of journeying into the desert on camelback. Either way, a night or two in the desert will expose one to the remote interior of Rajasthan, where one will witness life in remote villages as the rugged tribes brave the odds of this inhospitable but exquisite Rajasthani landscape.
