Chandra Mahal Haveli

The mansion was built by rich Muslim nobles in the 1850's and its proximity to the mughal durbar is apparent in the architecture which reminds one of Fatehpur Sikri. Among the activities of interest organised here are visits to the villages where carpet weavers can be seen at work.

The Chandra Mahal Haveli in its full grandeur stands imposingly over the sylvan countryside. Picturesquely located at Peharsar, the haveli is structured to allow maximum interplay of sunlight and fresh air, keeping it in sync with nature. During winters, one can see a vast panoramda of mustard and wheat field, wich blend with the colourful and ethenic culture of the region.
