Phantom Forest Eco Lodge

Phantom Forest Lodge has been discreetly designed with ragged thatch and wood shingle, in order to blend in under the canopy of mature forest trees. This private Nature Reserve on the Knysna River offers a unique bio-diversity of habitats. The Afromontane forest, Cape coastal fynbos and estuarine wetland is home to over 150 bird species, bushpig, bushbuck, grysbok, the rare blue duiker (Africa's smallest antelope) and a variety of smaller game. Drawing inspiration from nature, and using only sustainable materials, the elevated "tree suites" were created with privacy and harmony in mind.
